Sip and Savor the Snacks

Hello Disney Tricksters,

This Trick is all about Disneyland’s Sip and Savor Pass at Disney’s California Adventure Park available until January 8, 2019.

Details:

The Sip and Savor Pass is available in two forms, one for Annual Passholders and one for general guests.  Both passes include a credential with eight tabs, but, Annual Passholders receive a free button at each booth and their credential lanyard is blue with the words Annual Passholder on it.  The general guest badge is available for $54.00 (AP badge is slightly less with discount).  There are 12 Festival Booths that include food, alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks.  Each tab on the credential can be redeemed for 1 food item or 1 non-alcoholic beverage at each stand.  The stands begin just outside of Cars Land, continue to the walkway of Pixar Pier and to the right of Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.

Tricks:

If you’re interested in 2 snacks or a snack and a drink from the same booth you can use two of your tabs at the same booth.  You don’t have to use all of your tabs in one day, you can use them any day until the last day of the festival (January 8, 2019).  Use your tabs on the most expensive items that you want to try that way if you want to buy any extra treats/drinks you can buy the cheaper items that you want.  You can share the pass with friends just don’t tear off the tab until you are in front of the cashier.  

Thoughts:

My mom and I shared one pass and were both extremely full after.  We tried a variety of snacks and drinks and found the Chorizo Queso Fundido with House-Made Tortilla Chips from Brews and Bites to be DELICIOUS and I’d highly recommend that snack. I also loved the Cornbread Cakes with Braised Collard Greens and Smoked Bacon Gravy from Blissfully Braised.  This is a great value if you are keen on trying some of the festival booths.  It was not the best food I’ve ever had but some of the treats were great!  The experience of adventuring between all of the booths and trying new foods with friends/family is definitely worth it.
