Step into Storybook with Snow White

Hello Disney Tricksters,

This Trick is all about the New Character Dining Experience, Storybook Dining at Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge. Step into the magical forest where you’ll find Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy and even the Quicked Ween I mean the Wicked Queen.

Details:

Walt Disney World’s newest Character Dining is an immersive experience at Wilderness Lodge that has transformed Artist Point into a magical storybook forest where Snow White and the Dwarfs dance the night away to three songs! The Appetizer Course includes small, individual portions of: Winter Squash Bisque, Wicked Shrimp Cocktail and Hunter’s Pie. There are a variety of Main Entrees to choose from including: Royal Prime Rib Roast, Brother’s Grimm Roasted Chicken, Bashful’s Butter-poached Snapper, Cottage Seafood Stew, A Stroll through Nature (vegetarian) and Magic Mirror Slow-braised Veal Shank. The Dessert Course is shared as the Appetizers were and there are individual portions of: Fairy Tale Gooseberry Pie, Miner’s Treasure Sponge Cake, Poison Apple Mousse, and The Hunter’s Gift to the Queen Ganache Heart. The name tag that every employee has is regal and stunning. The main meet n’ greet is with the Evil Queen in the middle while the dwarfs and Snow White walk around and interact with every table multiple times.

Tricks:

Look for last minute reservations if the day/time you want to go is full. This dining experience is still quite new and is not as hard to get into as other Character Dining Experiences such as the castle. Call Disney Dining if you don’t see any reservations as sometimes you can get lucky that way! Also, try to make a reservation for around 5:30 as I have seen that as the most open time.

Thoughts:

The main entrees and desserts were delicious. I ordered the Brother’s Grimm Roasted Chicken and it was my favorite part of the meal! The appetizers were quite small but, for the price, this is one of the cheapest Character (Princess) Dinner Experiences on property. Snow White is my absolute favorite Princess and the experience of going into her world did not disappoint! With only 4 characters you are able to see the characters multiple times and create many magical memories. I would definitely go back to this immersive dining experience!
