Disney Springs and World of Disney Reopening Review May 2020

Hello Disney Tricksters,

This Trick is all about how to have an enjoyable day at Disney Springs under the new precautions and what World of Disney was like on opening day!

Details:

2020 has been absolutely crazy and with that brings along new regulations! At Disney Springs guests are now asked to wear a mask the entire time they are there. Guests are able to remove their mask while eating at restaurants or taking active bites/sips of food/drinks. Temperature screenings are in effect and occur once you walk into Disney Springs. Anyone with a fever of 100.4 or above will be turned away along with their party. To make a reservation at the Co-Op or World of Disney guests wait in line, give their name and phone number and are texted when they should return. We were given a estimate of 3 hours and only waited 2 and a half. The fitting rooms in all stores are currently closed.

Tricks:

Be sure to show up early! The stores open at different times right now but most open between 10 AM and 11:30 AM. We showed up on opening day to World of Disney and waited 3 hours to get in the store after putting our names in at 9 AM.

Thoughts:

I am very excited that Disney Springs has reopened. The parks will be changing so to see the small changes Disney Springs has made makes me feel very safe and very normal. I appreciate everyone who is working hard to make this transition smooth.

A photo of how empty World of Disney was due to the limited number of guests allowed in at a time! Very safe!
